    I have learned that if one slows down to intentionally tune into the moment, you can experience magic moments. In my experience, these magic moments allow you to really tune into what is happening around you and expand, deepen, or clarify your perspective.

    From using plant-based face wash, to an essential oil toner, to slathering my face with oils before bed, I now view my skin care routine as more of a gratitude ritual.

    As a Southern girl, I grew up on lots of delicious BBQ served with sides that were prepared using the richest ingredients. From the buzz in the kitchen to the laughter in the living room, I loved (and still do!) our big family gatherings. Food was prepared with love and served with pride! Unfortunately, all that love and pride often came bathed in butter, flooded in fat and surrounded by sugary ingredients. But, oh it tasted so good!     January 1st is the time of year when many renew their commitment to a healthier lifestyle.
